Praise for Paul
If you have some special stories you'd like to share relating to songs sung by Paul please feel free to share them here. Do they evoke special memories or bring a secret smile, or a silly grin to your face, or even a tear to your eye? ....
Paul's Live Chat
In the live chat on February 9, 2010 Paul said that he thought that Brian Kennedy's version of You Raise Me Up was the best. I've listened to Brian Kennedy sing YRMU before and I just listened to him sing it again and I must say I think Paul's version is better, much better! As for Josh Groban ~ Paul leaves him standing in the dust. I have 7 different artists singing YRMU on my i-pod and I listened one after the other and Paul out shines them all.

Don't laugh!! Every time I listen to 'A nightingale sang in Berkley Square' I'm in that song walking through the night with the man of my dreams and imagine it would be our first date. This song is so romantic, I wish I could have such a magical night one day. Oh I love that song.
Well then guys if you read this, have the heart... lol. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Praise for Paul
I had heard Paul sing Because we Believe, but, when I saw him in concert in Jacksonville, Fl. and he sang that song, it just gave me goose bumps and when he finished, I was just stunned. Paul can sure do that to you. He is so powerful in person.
I also watch him sing You Raise Me Up every night before I go to bed.

RE: Jeano
Jeano,
If you watch Paul every night before you go to bed how can you sleep? *sigh* I always listen to music when I'm falling asleep and lately I haven't been sleeping very well. I finally figured it out. I was listening to Paul and or Celtic Thunder. I kept thinking I'll listen to just one more song then I'll go to sleep. I'd listen all night if I could. I do listen all day! Oh My Gosh! They are like potato chips, you can't just eat one. And I can't just listen to one song!

Ladies get out your dancing shoes because Paul Byrom is singing songs that will take you out on the dance floor of your mind.
The rhythms of Sway will evoke the movements of a sexy samba or the Bossa Nova. The slow evocative bass just makes you want to head south and find a nice warm beach to hang out on and drink patron-laced beverages while slithering around with a young hot latin dancer on the dance floor.
Doo Wacka Doo brings to mind the days of flappers, speak easies, men dressing like F. Scott Fitzgerald or Al Capone, women dressing in frilly bangles and short bobs, learning to do the Lindy and Charleston and the decadence of the 20’s. You just want to grab your dancing partner and dance the night away until the sun comes up.
I can’t wait for more songs like these, the dance floor of my mind is ready to keep on dancing.

Dance Floor of My Mind
I love it! The dance floor of my mind!!! That's the only place I can dance. Thanks for the great visual.
I love Doo Wacka Doo. It brings back memories of stories that my Grandma used to tell me from back in the 20's. My Grandparents met in a Dance Hall. My Grandma used to dance in and win Charleston contests. Although visuals of top hats and tails aren't what comes to mind when I picture my cowboy Grandpa in a dance hall. They were married for 56 years.

Re: Praise for Paul
Karen, I can listen to Paul Before I go to bed. Tried listening to him in bed as I always listen to music, but also but like you, he kept me awake caise I did not want to miss a note.
Sway OMG, the way Paul sings it, who wouldn't want to Sway, especially with him.!!!!
His Doo Wacka Doo just shows that Paul can really dance.
That man has so many sides to him, he seems to be every man rolled into one. Just look at the pictures of him in Calcutta.
How can you not love that man?????

Re: Praise for Paul
they are on his Myspace, let me ask him about posting them here. But you can see them with out logging in to MySpace or being a member. Just click on his Official MySpace Page - not the music one.
Re: Praise for Paul
I think YRMU is still my favorite Paul song, but will wait til I get to see him in person at the shows.
What is funny is that Doo Wacka Doo does nothing for me on the CD, but to see Paul sing and dance to it is so wonderful.
What a talent we have found in Paul.

I didn’t think anyone could touch the Irish Tenors’ version of “Just a Song at Twilight,” but Paul Byrom’s booming voice gives the Tenors a real run for their money!
Re: Praise for Paul
I absolutely loved Paul singing your national anthem. It was very emotional, and I,m not American. Paul could and can sing any song to perfection. My favorite so far is Rememberme.Recuerdame,it has the most beautiful lyrics but saying that I love every song Paulhas sung so far.It really is so hard to pick a favorite

Re: Praise for Paul
Just wanted to wish Paul nothing but wonderful things coming for him. He will be recording his new CD next month and just know it will be nothing short of great.
When Paul starts his tour, hoping and praying he sells out wherever he goes. We fans have to support him.
Don't think tickets will be expensive like CT and he will not ask for money just to talk to him. I cannot wait to see him.
